Hey there lunchalot and the people out there, in reading our favourite page whilst salivating and then rushing to the kitchen in an attempt to pretend we can all spend 5-7 hours in the kitchen cooking something to remember.... who am I kidding!

I would just like to say in defence to all of the poor men and women who are on the 'meal end' of an extravegent cook, HOW ARE WE TO COPE with such beautiful food being passed before our eyes and our wonderful providers and still stay trim tort and terrific... please provide suggestions.

Love your work lunchalot!

Hi there, Food is yummy, yummy, yummy!! The foods that I can't live without are:
* Chocolate - anything that is not white chocoate. Love it in blocks, with nuts, with coffee, chocolate coated coffee beans, chocolate cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate and marshmallows.
* I also LOVE choc-chip cookies. I am addicted to the ones they bake fresh at Tescos and only cost 47p each!! I have to restrict myself to only buying 2 at a time, as if I have them I eat them, and any more than two will make me feel ill. One of my favourite TV watching pastimes is to dunk cookies in cups of hot tea or coffee.
*My mothers liptauer cheese with fresh pieces of spring onion, and a spicy paprika
* A delicate chilled rose wine in the summer time
* Pesto - especially homemade with loads of parmesan and pine nuts
* Which brings me to pine nuts - I try and put them on anything

OK, I am just going to salivate into my cup of tea now - Earl Grey to be precise. My favourite is Lapsang Souchong, but I don't have that today.

I love halva. If there's a whole brick of the stuff, I just keep on nibbling away at it until I can't eat any more, and then have a few more slices for good measure.
