Blogathon update
My Blogathon total is currently standing at $340. I’ll be cooking and blogging every 30 minutes for 24 hours to raise money for World Vision.
To put this in perspective, this is enough to buy:
- A cow for a family in Zimbabwe, which will provide them with milk, yoghurt, cheese, fertiliser for their crops, help with ploughing, and baby cows they can sell.
- Lambs for seven families in Mongolia, to give them milk, offspring, and wool to make into clothes and blankets.
- Hens for eight families in Malawi or Chad, which will give them eggs and other baby chickens to sell.
- Mosquito nets for 15 children in Ethiopia. A child dies of malaria every 30 seconds in Africa, and a mozzie net is a simple solution.
Come on! Let’s get the total up! To sponsor me go to http://www.blogathon.org/sponsor.php?blog_id=119
