My 15 minutes of foodie fame
This appeared in the Epicure section of today’s Age. The article has helped the total get up over $600! But there’s still room for improvement. Sponsor me and get the total up to $1000!

Blogathon update - We’ve broken the $500 mark!
So far we’ve raised $554, thanks to some interest from an article in the Epicure section of today’s Age. Fantastic work, but we can do better! Let’s double it and break the $1000 barrier!
Come on! Sponsor me and put some food on someone’s table on the other side of the world!
So far we’ve raised enough for:
- Veggie packs to provide seed for fruit, vegetables and grains to 10 families in Afghanistan. They also get agricultural training so they can keep harvesting their own fruit and veg.
- Pigs for seven families in Myanmar. Did you know a sow can produce 20 piglets a year?!
- Emergency kits for five families who are struck by famine, war or natural disaster. These kits give them food in their bellies, clothes on their backs and blankets to keep them warm.
And many thanks to Za for your generous donation!
