Blogathon Pics
I probably should be spending the first hour or two of the Blogathon doing prep, but I am all excited about a cooking frenzy and just want to get stuck into it. It’s a little tricky juggling cooking timings with writing and updating the blog every half hour, especially as I am trying to get lots of photos in there too. I probably should have talked someone else into doing this crazy thing with me!
Here are some pics of the yummy things I get to cook with throughout the night.

This is my basket of quinces. I love putting fruit and veg in baskets when I buy it. It looks so beautiful. I bought HEAPS of quinces and I suspect I am going to have a bit of a frenzy with them over the next few hours.

Here is a photo of my partner in crime. It’s 12.24am (one and a half hours into the ‘thon) and O is asleep on the couch. He did have a big day at work today though, so I guess he’s forgiven. Note my sous chef fast asleep under his feet.
Next up, bolognese for the lasagne. Though I probably should get some bread dough proofing.

I totally abandoned the idea of prep, sometime yesterday… I’m just doing it all as I go along.
Good luck with that.

good luck with the cooking (and blog), I am surrounded by dishes from Christmas in July - I did Stephanie Alexander’s slow roasted pork… it was fantastic (if I do say so myself) but I am glad that I can go to bed now…
Enjoy your cooking frenzy, I always say that there is nothing like a sanity saver than a cooking marathon.

Your pictures are making me so hungry!
Good luck with your blogging, and I’ll definitely be stopping by later to see what more you come up with
